Thank you to everyone who read, commented, messaged, texted, or sent good vibes in response to last week's post. You all are the best. I am encouraged and inspired anew! Here's the first in a series of posts to catch up on the "best of" months I missed when I was...I don't know, not writing.
I've now requested the Allie Larkin from the library. If Norman and you both recommend it, how can I resist? Charm City Rocks was so darn good, wasn't it?
>most people are vastly disappointing at best and cravenly terrible at worst
>learn the hard way that many, many, many people are not good
Oh my, 2 books showing how frustrating and distressing living with people can be, but that’s really how it is sometimes. But I’ll read them, even if they are sad, good stories are good stories.
Had a laugh at the way you ended the reviews, >I'd read and love Russo's grocery list. So I will pick up the Richard Russo trilogy as well.

You got so immersed into the books! Now I’m thinking of moving them into next on my tbr list.
Also, so cool you got to meet Lauren Groff and Rebecca Makkai! Love it when authors turn out to be as fantastic as their books.
